Master’s Dragon Peak: Live the Pirate Life in Borbon Cebu

The giant pirate ship has finally arrived. But this time, it is located in the mountainous area of Borbon, Cebu. S/V Master’s Dragon Peak is a Noah’s Ark theme of modern times with a spiral staircase surrounded by beautiful greenery.

The staircase to the main attraction consists of a few hundred steps where you’ll do a bit of walking and climbing. Two dragon-fruit-designed shelter greets you at the entrance of the rustic-themed pirate ship. There are also sea creatures and a huge clam that make for picture-perfect selfies.

The viewing deck offers panoramic views of Borbon’s natural hilly surroundings and is a breath of fresh air since it is away from any source of pollution. A restaurant and snack bar are available inside the ship if you’re craving some after-cardio food.

How to Get There:

By Bus: Take a bus bound for Borbon from Cebu North Bus terminal. Ask the conductor to drop you off at Borbon City Proper. You can rent a habal-habal (motorcycle) to take you to Master’s Dragon Peak. It is around 10-minutes away from the city proper.

By Car: Navigate using Waze or Google / Apple Maps and key in Dragon’s Master Peak as your destination. A few meters of a narrow road and an unpaved road leading to the entrance. Parking spaces are available outside the main entrance.

Master’s Dragon Peak is located in Barangay Bili in Borbon, Cebu, 77-km away from Cebu City. The travel time is around 2 hours to this beautiful and unique attraction.
