The Cebu IT Park night market is leaving its lot in front of Avida Towers for the site beside JP Morgan. The operator has confirmed the relocation is in progress. No opening date has been published.
Sugbo Mercado is relocating within Cebu IT Park. The night market is leaving the open lot in front of Avida Towers, beside the transport terminal, and moving to the lot next to JP Morgan.
Reported by Suroy Newsdesk.

The move has been confirmed by the market itself. A post on the official Sugbo Mercado Facebook page states that “Sugbo Mercado’s relocation is in progress” and that it will be serving again at a new site. No opening date for the new lot has been published.
The first public sign came on 30 May 2026, when vendors had been told 28 June 2026 could be their final day of operations at the existing site, with pull-out the following day.
The new site is currently under construction in the lot beside JP Morgan Chase few meters walk from the current site.
Sugbo Mercado opened in Cebu IT Park in 2015 and became the template for the weekend food market in the city, later expanding to other sites including Cebu Business Park. Entry is free. Most stalls take cash only, some accept GCash. A reasonable spend is ₱150 to ₱350 a head, or ₱500 to ₱700 with drinks and barbecue.
Suroy.ph’s guide to the market, including what to order, is here. The district it sits in, and the airfield it was built on, are covered in the Cebu IT Park guide.
Suroy.ph has asked the estate and the operator for comment. This report will be updated.
