Tingko Beach in Alcoy Cebu

Alcoy is a beautiful municipality blessed with beautiful beaches and mountainous areas. One of the must-visit places is Tingko Beach, famous for its amazing powdery white sands, clear waters, and mesmerizing kilometer-long curved shoreline.

Tingko is a public beach like the ones in Moalboal (Basdaku), Maravilla (Tabuelan), Hermit’s Cove (Aloguinsan), and Lambug (Badian).

There are four parts dividing the long stretch of Tingko Beach – the public beach, Voda Krasna Resort, and Tingko Beach 1 and 2. There is a minimal entrance fee for the public beach where it gets crowded, especially with tourists coming from the south during the weekends.

The deep lagoon just across the coral island of Mabad-on Reef disappears during high tide. There are cottages available for rent, and food is readily available in the area. You may also choose to dine in Voda Krasna as they offer superb meals by the beach.

We recommend visitors bring snorkeling gear and swim along with the fishes on this beautiful white sand beach. Of course, you can rent one if you forget to bring your gear. Visitors to Tingko Beach will readily appreciate the clear waters and the ambiance of this beautiful place.
