Samboan has plenty of waterfalls, and Dao Falls is one of the more popular ones due to its breathtaking views along the trek and an epic waterfall towards the end. It is the tallest among the falls in the municipality, with an approximate height of 50 meters.
The trek toward the waterfall takes 30 to 40 minutes going through several paved roads, boulders, and rocks. Please note that your feet will get wet along the jungle trail. Locals at the entrance serve as tour guides and can help you navigate the way towards the falls. They are not mandatory, but we highly recommend getting one as the rocks may be slippery and unstable in some areas of the trail.
The hike towards the falls is one of the most incredible adventures. In the end, you’ll see Dao Falls majestically surrounded by a rock wall with water flowing beautifully towards an aqua-blue-filled pond.
